Why people ask for an "IPL ID" at all

Every year the same thing happens on our WhatsApp desk. For ten months the messages are steady. Then, about a week before the first IPL match, they triple. Most of those new messages say some version of "bhai IPL ID chahiye". So let us clear it up once: the ID you get in March is the same ID you would get today. It does not expire after the final, and you do not pay anything extra for the IPL.

What does change during the season is the rush. On opening weekend, ID requests that normally take five minutes can take twenty, because everybody remembers at 7 pm that the match starts at 7:30. If you want to play the first game calmly, sort your Reddy Book Club ID out a few days early, make one small test deposit, and check that your login works on your own phone.

How to get your Reddybook ID for the IPL

1. Message us on WhatsApp. Use the green button on this page — it opens the official chat directly. Do not search for numbers on Telegram or in YouTube comments.

Match odds in plain words

On the exchange screen each team has a blue box and a pink box. Blue is back — you are saying the team will win. Pink is lay — you are saying it will not. If you back Chennai at 1.90 for ₹1,000 and they win, your profit is ₹900. If they lose, you lose the ₹1,000. Nothing more complicated than that. The part that takes practice is timing: in a T20, one over with two wickets can swing a price from 1.60 to 2.40.

How session (fancy) markets work

Sessions are the most popular IPL market on the platform, and the most misunderstood. Say the 6-over session for Mumbai shows 47 – 49. If you think they will score 49 or more in the powerplay, you take "Yes" at 49. If you think they will stay under 47, you take "No". The line moves after every ball, so the number you see when you tap is the number that counts. Rain-shortened games have their own settlement rules — check the market rules tab before you play a session on a cloudy evening.

The IPL season in short

The IPL is a ten-team T20 league, normally played from late March to the end of May. Each side plays 14 league games, and the top four go to the playoffs: Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2 and the final. Most match days have one game at 7:30 pm IST; weekends usually add a 3:30 pm afternoon game. The BCCI has not published the IPL 2027 fixture list yet — when it does, we will update this page with the dates rather than guess at them now.

Five habits that separate calm IPL players from stressed ones

We talk to players all season, and the ones who are still enjoying it in May tend to do the same few things.

• One budget for the whole season. Seventy-plus matches in two months is a lot. Decide a total figure in March and divide it, instead of deciding fresh every night.
• Wait for the toss. In evening games, dew makes chasing easier at several grounds. The playing XI and the toss tell you more than any preview video.
• Skip matches. Nobody is forcing you to play all of them. Picking two or three games a week you have actually thought about beats a bet every night.
• Do not chase. A lost session in the first innings is not a reason to double up in the second. This is the single most common way budgets disappear.

Fake "IPL ID" offers — please read this before March

IPL season is also scam season. Clone websites and copy-paste WhatsApp numbers appear every year with offers like "500% IPL bonus" or "fixed match report". No genuine provider sells fixed matches, because there is nothing to sell. And any bonus that needs you to deposit first to an unknown personal UPI ID should be treated as a red flag.

Almost everyone follows the IPL on a phone, usually with the match streaming on the same device. The platform runs in any mobile browser, and Android users can also install the Reddybook app, which reloads odds a little faster when the network is crowded at 7:30 pm.
